Qtenboard 9679 Interactive Whiteboard – OTA & USB Firmware Upgrade

You need to finish basic preparations before firmware upgrade

  • Prepare a USB flash drive and format it to FAT32
  • Download official BIN firmware file from Qtenboard website
  • Ensure stable power supply and avoid sudden power failure
  • Check USB ports on the back of the whiteboard to ensure normal connection
  • Back up important data before upgrading to avoid data loss

You need to complete USB drive settings for all USB upgrade methods

  1. Format your USB drive to FAT32 on a computer
  2. Create a new folder named update in the root directory
  3. Put the BIN firmware file into the update folder
  4. Do not rename the firmware or add extra files into the folder
  5. Eject the USB drive safely from the computer

You can perform USB forced upgrade when the device works abnormally

  1. Turn off the whiteboard completely and disconnect power
  2. Insert the prepared USB drive into the rear USB3.0 port
  3. Press and hold the power button continuously
  4. Turn on the main power while keeping the power button pressed
  5. Release the button only when the upgrade progress bar appears
  6. Wait for automatic upgrade and system restart

    7. You can use USB one‑click upgrade when the system runs normally

    1. Power on the whiteboard and enter the main interface
    2. Insert the configured USB drive into the rear USB3.0 port
    3. Find and open the OTA function on the desktop
    4. Click the USB Update button in the OTA menu
    5. Wait for the system to scan firmware and show progress bar
    6. Keep power on until the whiteboard restarts automatically

    You can use OTA online upgrade under stable network

  • Connect the whiteboard to reliable Wi‑Fi or wired network
  • Open Settings and enter System Update section
  • The system detects the latest firmware automatically
  • Click Download and Install to start online upgrade
  • Do not disconnect network or power during the process
