Key advantage: CKD/SKD models save you 15%–25% on import duties and VAT in your destination country, while also helping you meet local content/procurement regulations (e.g., government tender localization clauses).

Hardware-level customization (no NRE/development fees):

• Silkscreen & branding: Laser engraving or pad printing of your logo on the front bezel, back cover, and remote control.
• Packaging & manuals: Custom carton markings, retail box design, and multi-language user manuals (provide your AI source files).

Software-level customization (minor development effort, negotiable):

• Boot animation/logo: Flash your branded startup screen at the Android system level.
• Firmware presets: Pre-install your MDM (Mobile Device Management) app, whitelist/blacklist specific apps, and customize the Android Launcher layout.
• EDLA certification continuity: As long as the core hardware remains unchanged, custom firmware does not void the EDLA certification (Google CTS/GTS tests are hardware-baseline dependent).

⚠️ Important: We charge zero "brand licensing" or "white-label management" fees. The only costs are one-time tooling/engineering charges for physical changes (e.g., silkscreen stencils, packaging die-cuts).

Sample procurement process:

• Step 1: Submit your specific requirements (size, OS, accessories, custom requests).
• Step 2: We issue a Proforma Invoice (PI). Sample fees are charged at standard factory-gate prices (fully refundable against your first bulk order).
• Step 3: Production and shipment, accompanied by burn-in test reports and real production-line videos.

Lead Time (from order confirmation):

• Samples: 7–12 working days (includes production, aging testing, and packing).
• Bulk orders (finished units): 25–35 calendar days (after deposit and final customization specs are confirmed).
• Bulk orders (CKD/SKD kits): 20–28 calendar days (knockdown packaging is faster).

Shipping: We work with your nominated forwarder or provide competitive door-to-door quotes via our partnered logistics providers (FOB Shenzhen / CIF destination port both available).

Standard warranty: 3 years for the entire unit (including LCD panel, mainboard, power supply, and touch module).

DOA (Dead on Arrival) Policy – within 15 days of signed delivery:

• Criteria: Unit fails to power on, screen cracked (non-transit damage), total touch failure, or missing core functionality out of the box.
• Our commitment: We ship a brand-new replacement unit FIRST (via air or express sea freight) without waiting for the defective unit to be returned or inspected. Zero downtime for your end-client installation.

Bulk defect clause: If the failure rate of a single batch exceeds 3% (non-human-damage related), we provide on-site inspection and parts replacement at our own expense (travel and logistics costs borne by Qtenboard).

Certification ownership: EDLA certification is tied to the hardware model (SKU) and the core firmware baseline — not to the brand name. This means:

• You receive a standalone EDLA certificate bearing YOUR company name as the Manufacturer.
• Google GMS (Google Mobile Services) authorization is fully active on your units. Your end-users will have native access to Google Play, Google Classroom, and all enterprise apps.

Does customization affect the certification?

• No impact (safe): Changing boot logos, pre-installing APKs, tweaking the Launcher UI, or modifying wallpapers — these do not violate CTS/GTS test criteria. Certification remains fully valid.
• Impact (requires re-testing): Replacing the main chipset (e.g., MTK to Rockchip), modifying the Android kernel, or removing core Google services. We will flag these risks during the R&D phase and guide you through re-certification if needed.

Deliverables: Every shipment includes official EDLA test reports + GMS authorization letters for your procurement files and government tender submissions.

vs. Tier-1 Brands (Samsung / LG / ViewSonic):

• Cost structure: Brand premiums typically account for 30%–50% of the end-user price. As the actual manufacturer, we quote based on BOM cost + fair manufacturing margin, saving you 30%–45% on total landed cost for equivalent or better specs.
